Applicants who wish to follow Plekhanov Graduate School master programs taught in Russian also have to confirm their fluent level of Russian. State exam of Russian as the Foreign Language can be passed at the Plekhanov Russian Academy of Economics.

According to the law of Russian Federation, all foreign applicants who wish to pursue studies in Russian institutes of higher education must prove that their previous Diploma (Bachelor, Master or equivalent) complies with Russian State Educational Standards. Equivalence is ascertained by the Russian Federal Educational Inspectorate.

For documents on education issued in other countries Russian authorities require an apostille. Apostille means "a certification". It refers to the legalization of a document for international use under the terms of the "1961 Hague Convention Abolishing the Requirement of Legalisation for Foreign Public Documents". Apostilles may only be issued by a Competent Authority designated by the State on whose territory the public document has been executed.

Entry Test

Graduate School of Business Entry Test is a written multiple-choice questions test in the field of Management and Economics equivalent to the level of Bachelor degree. For Master Programs taught in Russian the Test is provided in Russian, for Master Programs taught in English the Exam is provided in English.
