The Plekhanov Graduate School is proud to annonce that on July 6th, 2010 Memorandum of Understanding between the Plekhanov Russian Academy of Economics and Università degli Studi "Guglielmo Marconi" (Italy) was signed. Within the bounds of this Memorandum, Exchange and Distance Double Degree programs are expected to be launched.

Masters of the Plekhanov Graduate School were graduated on June 2nd, 2010.
This is 17th graduation of the Plekhanov Graduate School since the time of its establishment. The number of graduates is first-rate this year - 210 Master Diplomas were issued, and 32 out of them are Honored. Graduates who gained the Honored Diploma were also awarded to special references from the Rector (Letter of Commendation).
The ceremony was attended by the Plekhanov Graduate School management, directors of M.Sc. Program, as well as parents and friends of the graduates.
The Plekhanov Graduate School congratulates its graduates and wishes them good luck in their career!

Students and staff of the Plekhanov Graduate School would like to congratulate our Dean Prof. Olga Saginova who was awarded Commemorative medal of the Plekhanov Russian Academy of Economics. This medal is a sign of appreciation of over 30 years of outstanding service of Prof. Saginova who was the initiator of many Bachelor and Master programs at the Plekhanov Academy. Prof. Saginova is a recognized member of the professional community of marketing educators in Russia, Europe, and the USA. Her papers in the field of marketing are respected by colleagues and students.

On March 30, 2010 students of the 1st year of the Graduate School participated in a Round Table Discussion about study abroad. Discussion was attended by Vice-Rector of Technical University of Lisbon professor Vitor Goncalves and the Dean of the Plekhanov Graduate School professor Olga V. Saginova. Prof. Saginova introduced the participants, presented the study process of the Graduate School and explained the purpose of the discussion. Then prof. Goncalves presented the Technical University of Lisbon and answered question of the participants about student and staff exchange possibilities. Participants exchanged by informational materials about their institutions.

On March 17th, 2010 the Plekhanov Graduate School organized the videoconference with group of the students studied in Ulan Bator (Mongolia) by the International Business distance learning program. The conference was attended by management of the Plekhanov Graduate School - Dean Olga Saginova, Deputy Dean Irina Skorobogatykh and Curator of distance learning Mikhail Melnikov. Academic results of the first semester and current organizational questions were discussed during the conference.
Dear students, by this time we expect all of you to receive your Student Card. Please remember that you must present your Student card every time you enter any building of the Academy. If you lost or forgot your Student Card, please, do not try to pass through security without it. Simply call Dean's office (phone number 958-2947 or 958-2117 or internal phone number 1288) from the check-point and ask for assistance. We will contact security and issue for you a temporary pass.

On 26th of February 2010 management of the Plekhanov Graduate School met representative of Negocia and Advancia Business Schools (France) - International Student Exchange Programs Coordinator Mrs. Emmanuelle Khvatov. Representatives of Plekhanov Russian Academy of Economics International Office attended the meeting as well. Questions about the cooperation between the Plekhanov Graduate School and Negocia and Advancia schools (student exchange, Double Diploma program, staff exchange) were discussed during this meeting. As a result of the meeting the Memorandum of Understanding is being prepared.

Department of External Economic Affairs at the Faculty of External Economic Relations invites students to participate in the international scientific student conference "External economic strategy of Russia in conditions of postcrisis world economy development", which will take place on march 25th, 2010.
The list of the scientific and practical problems planned for discussion at the conference and registration and paper submission procedures are presented in the Information Sheet here.
One ECTS credit will be awarded for conference participants by the Graduate School.

The Plekhanov Graduate School is proud to announce that in the January of 2010 the Acceptance Letter from Accreditation Committee of EPAS was received and the process of accreditation is started.
European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) is an international membership organization, founded in 1972 and based in Brussels, Belgium. With more than 700 member organizations from academia, business, public service and consultancy in 82 countries, EFMD provides a unique forum for information, research, networking and debate on innovation and best practice in management development. As well as AACSB, EFMD is recognized globally as an accreditation body of quality in management education and has established accreditation services for business schools and business school programs, corporate universities and technology-enhanced learning programs.
Established in 2005, EPAS is an international program accreditation system operated by EFMD. It aims to evaluate the quality of any business and/or management program that has an international perspective and, where of an appropriately high quality, to accredit it. EPAS accreditation is conferred upon graduate programs of the highest class only. The process of accreditation involves a review in depth of individual programs through international comparison and benchmarking. The key accreditation criteria for EPAS are high quality of educational process, high level of program internationalization and close connections with business practice.
On 16th of February 2010 management of the Plekhanov Graduate School met representatives of the SKEMA Business School (France) - Associate Dean for International Development Mr. Pascal Vidal and International Office Manager Mrs. Muriel Jacquelin. Representatives of Plekhanov Russian Academy of Economics International Office attended the meeting as well. Questions about the cooperation between the Plekhanov Graduate School and the SKEMA (student exchange, Double Diploma program, staff exchange) were discussed during this meeting. As a result of the meeting the Memorandum of Understanding is being prepared.
