Global resource crisis follows Eurozone crisis concluded leading Russian experts in the Asian-Pacific region economics during international launch of the Economic and Social survey of Asia and the Pacific 2012 which happened 11 May 2012 in more then 30 locations around the world. In Russia this survey was presented in Moscow, in the Academy of National economy under guidance of President of Russian Federation in the audience of experts from leading Russian economic universities, specialists from Ministry of Economic development and other state and business structures. From the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics Igor Stroganov, assistant professor to Comparative economics and entrepreneurship department participated in presentation of the Survey. The Asia-Pacific region continues to face a challenging external environment. First threat posed to the growth of the region is weakness of major developed economies. The V-shaped recovery from the depths of the 2008 global financial crisis proved to be short-lived. Eurozone debt crisis and uncertain economic outlook of the US economy, who are major markets for the Asia-Pacific region, present another road to crisis for it. Also commodity market shows high and volatile price levels, which can be a sign of a global resource crisis starting. Increase in oil prices may damage both political and economical stability in the region, damaging agricultural sector and increasing rate of poverty. Additional risk to Asia-Pacific economic dynamism this year is from likely measures to revive growth in developed economies, in particular, liquidity injections. This may expose economies of the region to risk of asset market bubbles, exchange rate appreciation and inflationary pressures. There are, however, certain measures that can help this region solve at least some of the problems. These are: investments in infrastructure, investments in agricultural sector, development of a green economy and regional economic integration.
