The Master program International Business leads the students towards a postgraduate educational degree. The program distinguishes itself through combining scientific excellence with a practical focus on business management.
The consecutive study program International Business consists of a three-year Bachelor program and a following two-year Master degree. The course does not aim for a functional specialization but instead concentrates on influences of the global business context on internationally relevant aspects of all business functions. It shows the interrelations between the various factors and functions and particularly emphasizes methods, which allow an appropriate reaction to changes in the international business environment.
What does Dresden offer as a university town?
The Elbe valley, running from the Bohemian border to the region of Meissen, including the Saxon capital of Dresden, is one of the most impressive landscapes in Germany with its peculiar sandstone rock formations, its vineyards, its gardens, and historical buildings which are well-known all over the world.
The city has been well known for more than two hundred years as "Florence at the Elbe".
Its famous buildings include the Zwinger Palace and Semper Gallery, the Semper Opera House, the Royal Palace (now being rebuilt), the Green Vault, numerous churches and the castles of Grillenburg, Pillnitz and Moritzburg. Together with its museums, theatres and orchestras. Dresden can provide students with an educational and cultural experience that will stay with them for life. Besides, a good reason for studying in Dresden are the many Student Clubs and the district called Neutadt with its young inhabitants and nightlife, which make student life especially attractive.
