Unique opportunity for students to obtain a Master Degree in Management from 3 (!) partner institutions: Plekhanov Russian University of Economics (Moscow, Russia), the University of Applied Sciences Dresden (Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft Dresden - Dresden, Germany) and the Institut de Préparation ŕ l'Administration et ŕ la Gestion (IPAG - Paris/Nice, France). Only cutting-edge subjects are taught in the Master programs. This fosters the professors to use efficient teaching methods, such as:
- Interactive lectures
- Case analysis;
- Group projects;
- Individual and group presentations;
- Research projects based on real companies and organizations.
The academic year is divided into 2 semesters, and each semester into modules. The first semester, which lasts from September through December, includes two 6-week modules, the second semester (January - July) consists of three 8-week modules and a summer research project or internship, the third semester (September - December) consists of two 8-week modules. The fourth semester is devoted to scientific research and preparation of the Master’s thesis, which the students defend in April after passing an integrated final examination in the field of study.
Students work independently, studying the recommended literature and fulfilling different tasks. Therefore the number of contact hours is about 12-16 hours per week.
Classes of the Graduate School are usually delivered 4 days per week from 19:00 till 22:10.
Classes of other faculties (such as Russian language, Doing Business in Russia, etc.) are usually delivered every day in the mornings and afternoons.

English language requirements:
Applicant should have generally effective command of the language despite some inaccuracies, inappropriacies and misunderstandings. Applicant should be able to use and understand fairly complex language, particularly in familiar situations.

- iBT (internet-based test) score 79 out of 120 (since 2005)
- cBT (computer-based test) score 213 out of 300 (in 1998-2006)
IELTS score of 6.0 out of 9.0
Certificate is waived for students who have a Bachelor’s degree from an English speaking university or study Master degree program in English.
The number of credits exchange students must obtain depends on their home university study program, but they should get at least 10 ECTS credits per semester from the list of courses offered by PGS to be valid for the whole exchange program.
The students with good command of Russian language may request a special arrangement with Dean’s Office to be able to attend Master Courses delivered in Russian.
Occasionally some extra credits can be given for students for participation in scientific conferences and other activities organized by Plekhanov Graduate School.
